Use these resources to keep a cool head during this stressful time so we get the support to think of others in this time of need. Please redirect to your son or daughters Google Classroom to find this.
This is super important if you want to keep track with learning and productivity of your son and daughter.

Mr. Florell Please read while we are away. This is an update about your child from Mr. Florell's class.3/16/2020 Week of 3/16/2020 Educational Update
Good afternoon, I hope that you and your family and friends are healthy and prepared for the upcoming two weeks. Since we are not at Ray, this is a recommendation for educational activities for your son or daughters to do while away. I have emailed your child with resources that will keep them engaged in learning, and will be sending home links at the bottom with the hard copies for them to do for English Language Arts and Math. E-learning platforms will be reviewed for student work too. During the time that we are away from Ray the janitorial staff will be cleaning all areas of the school. This includes the students desks and locker. Therefore, students will be bringing home any belongings today. It also means that nobody is going to be able to access the school from this point on. The election this Tuesday is the only time patrons can enter the building, but no one will be allowed to access the school. For communication I will be using Google Classroom and will post on my blog that can be found on the Ray School website. Your child is capable of sending messages through Google Classroom. Parents you can reach me at this email [email protected]. I will be checking daily. I encourage you to look through the District email for any guidance; this can be found on CPS.Edu/parents. I know this has been a difficult time, but my hope is that everyone will make a healthy return to Ray to finish the school year. Please don’t hesitate to reach out for help.
